Please
Note: During triathlon registration you will be asked for your estimated
300m swim time. Your start order will be based upon your
given estimated swim time. Swimmers will start in numerical
order according race numbers provided.
Eligibility
Open
to individuals 16 years of age or older on race day and two or three
person relay teams. The Tri for Life is an event
designed for athletes of all ability levels. The right to accept
or reject any entry is reserved.
All
registrants must sign a race waiver during packet pick up.
Transition
& Event Parking
The
bike & run transition area is located in the HARC main parking
area off of Stoney Battery Road and will be closed for parking during the
event. Event
parking is available at the HARC parking lot located off of Church
Street. Additional parking is available along Corporate Blvd. and additional areas directed by
parking assistants.

Amenities
All
participants will receive a t-shirt, race packet, post-race food
& refreshments.
The
Hempfield Area Recreational Commission facility locker rooms will be
open for use during the event.
Support
Local
police departments & numerous volunteers from area organizations
are committed to make your race a safe and memorable
experience. All course intersections will have at least 1
volunteer. Transportation will be provided back to the
facility for any athlete unable to complete the course for any
unexpected reason. Local emergency personnel will be on alert
during the event.
Refunds
Cancellation - refunds are available upon written
request and are at the discretion of the race director. No
cancellation refunds are available after the race registration
closes.
USA
Triathlon
The
Tri for Kids Sake Triathlon is NOT sanctioned by USA
Triathlon. You will not need a USAT license to participate.
Timing
The
triathlon is a
time trial start with swimmers starting every 10
seconds. It is imperative that athletes line up for the swim
start in numerical order according to their given race number.
CHIP TIMING WILL BE USED FOR 2009 EVENTS. Additional
information will be given at packet pickup.
